THE SYMPTOMS It is necessary to distinguish the symptoms of OOS from the normal pains of living, such as muscle soreness after unaccustomed exercise or activity. OOS pains must also be distinguished from the pain of arthritis or some other condition. The early symptoms of OOS include: muscle discomfort fatigue aches and pains soreness hot and cold feelings muscle tightness numbness and tingling stiffness muscle weakness.
