BRAIN SKERRY is a photojournalist specializing in marine wildlife and underwater environments. Since 1998 he has been a contract photographer for National Geographic. In 2014 he was named a National Geographic Photography Fellow. In 2015 he was named a Nikon Ambassador, and in 2017 the Rolex National Geographic Explorer of the Year. REISEBÜCHER ZUM VERSCHENKEN

Für den Taucher"Warum einen das Meer anzieht, ist gar nicht so einfach zu erklären", schreibt Brian Skerry in seiner Einleitung zu "Ocean Soul". Wegen der Worte verschenkt man dieses Buch nicht, sondern wegen der Bilder: Es sind einzigartige Momente aus dieser Welt unter Wasser, die den meisten Menschen verschlossen ist, und die der National Geographic Fotograf in drei Jahrzehnten und tausenden von Tauchgängen entdeckt und eingefangen hat. Wegen dieser Fotos begehrt man diese Ozeane.
