Autorenporträt
Dr. Aldo Chircop is a specialist in marine and environmental law and policy. A former director of the International Ocean Institute, he is a Professor of Law at Dalhousie Law School and an Associate of the Marine & Environmental Law Institute. Dr. Chircop has published widely on ocean and coastal law, policy, and management. Mr. Scott Coffen-Smout is an oceans management practitioner with the Government of Canada (Fisheries and Oceans) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and an associate of the Marine & Environmental Law Institute. Dr. Moira L. McConnell is a Professor of Law and Director of the Marine & Environmental Law Institute (2004-2007) at Dalhousie Law School, Canada. She is also a special advisor to the ILO in connection with maritime labour issues and has consulted for the IMO. Dr. McConnell is affiliated with the graduate research programme in MBA in Shipping and Logistics at Copenhagen Business School. She has published in wide range of topics related to the law of the sea, maritime and marine law and policy, and environmental law and policy.
