Other major cities, in order of size, are Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Yorkton, Swift Current and North Battleford. The province''s name comes from the Saskatchewan River, whose name comes from its Cree designation: (kisisk ciwani-s piy), meaning "swift flowing river".
