Odontogenic Tumors (OT) are a heterogeneous group of lesions of diverse clinical behavior and histopathologic types, ranging from hamartomatous lesions to malignancy. Odontogenic tumors encompass a large number of lesions with manifold manifestations. Some of these lesions are encountered quite often while some are rarely occurring and still some that pose dubious characteristics. In order to understand and appreciate the origin and development of odontogenic tumors, a knowledge of certain early stages of normal odontogenesis - is a basic requirement. There is presently increasing evidence that residues of odontogenic epithelium play a role in the histogenesis of odontogenic tumors, hamartomas, and cysts. For a correct diagnosis and prompt treatment, clinico-pathological features, radiographs, histopathological and immunohistochemical findings must be considered. This book is an attempt to make a precise form of all odontogenic neoplasm with their origin, clinical features, radiological findings, differential diagnosis, histopathological aspects and different treatment modalities. This could certainly help to diagnose a patient promptly and treat accordingly.
