He was ordained a priest on March 13, 1937 of the Order of Friar Minor. He was appointed Apostolic vicariate of Requena, Peru on November 26, 1973 as well as Titular bishop of Simingi. Odorico Leovigildo Saiz Pérez retired as Apostolic vicariate of Requena, Peru on May 15, 1987.
