Autorenporträt

Roshdi Rashed, Doctorat d'État in History and Philosophy of Sciences, is Directeur de Recherche at the C.N.R.S. and Professor at the University of Tokyo. Among his most recent publications: Géométrie et dioptrique au Xe siècle: Ibn Sahl - al-Qūhī et Ibn al-Haytham (Paris, Les Belles Lettres, 1993). Jean Jolivet, is Docteur d'État and Directeur d'études honoraire à l'École Pratique des Hautes Etudes. He has recently published Philosophie médiévale arabe et latine (Paris, Vrin, 1995).
