The theme to be explored is drawing and, essentially, its importance as a pedagogical tool that transcends the teaching of art education. This is relevant insofar as it helps to break down misconceptions about drawing as a distracting or filling element in the curriculum. Contrary to this, drawing means a series of techniques and procedures that, applied to different subjects or cognitive development processes, make it possible both to obtain information and to produce it more clearly. In this sense, this work is an invitation to recognize the importance of drawing and to explore its contributions in multidisciplinary fields essential for collective and individual human development. Thus, it presupposes an instance of reflection of great interest as an activity and as a condition for learning.
