Well ... this book is about sliced apples and colorful rice. This short story collection comprises love letters. To my strong mother, my dearest partner, my lovely friends, my fluffy dog. Just as much to my self, my childhood, my present, and of course to my beautiful home country Japan.

Autorenporträt
Koko's writing journey was almost solely confined to writing ridiculously long diary entries, until she decided to publish "Spätsommergedanken". Born in the heart of Japan, Tokyo, Koko spent her early childhood years in Germany due to the work of her parents. Returning back to Japan when she was eight, she never really felt like she found her place in her own home country. After graduating a german highschool in Japan, she moved to Munich to study physics. There she did not only spent time thinking about electrodynamics or mechanics (don't ask her about it, she does not remember anything), but also about her identity and her love to Japan. Currently, Koko is studying Computational Science (also here, don't ask her about it, she is still trying to figure out what she is doing). If she is not studying or trying something out of her endless list of hobbies, she is probably taking a nap.
