Unlike chapter-books, gamebooks let the reader take multiple, small adventures that lead to different choices and different endings throughout. For those familiar, the book registers between the 4th & 6th Grade levels on the Flesch-Kincaid reading scale. There is no adult language and it's suitable for younger kids with a little vocabulary guidance along the way. I do try and challenge readers to grow their vocabulary with context.
