When Marge and I walked through the tunnel-like culvert under Highway 1 leading to the beach near Point Mugu, I got the urge to photograph lines and shapes sprawled haphazardly across the cement walls. In other words, graffiti! In Photoshop I threw caution to the winds and worked to the top of my talent to make what I thought was art out of designs drawn for another purpose and already there. This book has twenty-four photographs of graffiti including energy, excitement, power, line, shape, audacity and surprise in what I'm calling OFF THE WALL
