Mig (Laurent David) was born on a chilly December day in the north of France in 1975. He was passionate about drawing very early on, and copied his favorite heroes, from Goldorak to Gaston Lagaffe. He decided straightaway that his love for drawing and storytelling would lead to a profession as a comic book creator. In 1995, Mig joined a graphic studio and began an apprenticeship in brush inking by placing the characters from Asterix on various commercial products, as well as other licensed characters such as Lucky Luke, Babar, Droopy, Gaston Lagaffe, and more. In 1999, he created the comic book fanzine THE END with three other cartoonists from the region. Once he committed, it quickly became a career. He occasionally contributes to animation projects and video games, such as the cartoon My Friend Marsupilami.
