A Little Something about Me! Three years ago in August, I shared my last dinner with my cousin. Amongst the things we spoke about during that conversation she told me, "You really need to write about the dramas and stories of your life." I promised her one day I would start writing books. Today, she is the angel holding the light in the book. I drew her myself. I hope she likes the drawing. Between three kids, a house, a husband, forty-hour plus work weeks, and homework's. I could not find the profound creativity or time to pull off a story. Sadly, unemployment happened, (Hurray for Luna!). After ten years, the position I held was closed. So during my mandatory/voluntary vacation, and between tedious filings for unemployment, and submitting applications (don't envy me). Suddenly, "Oh! Luna," was born. I found that writing "Oh! Luna" kept my anxieties still, and without a trip to a doctor. I took a few issues that women suffer in life, such as trying to have everything, mainly a career and family. Then I evolved her as someone surrounded by judgment, even from her own kind. And, I created a high-strung, successful, character with ridiculous issues created by herself. Such as, who is going to marry her? To bring to light, this is one of the most important decisions a woman will make in her life. I would like to dedicate this book to my family. Time and time again they prove they stand behind me. My husband is my rock and voice of reason, and we make an excellent team. My mother is my safety net. She is always standing in position to catch me. And my sister, who is like a superhero, and shows up to prop you up during the moment you need her. My three kids, the Yeti, the Big Dog, and Little Holy Moly, you know you owe this world something big for being my offspring. Dream big! And, Do Big! You can do it! And, to all my nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. Nothing is impossible if you try, and try again. And, if you need me I will always be here. Last, I must give thanks to my good friend RE3, who knows I am artistically challenged when it comes to drawing. When I was at a loss for a front and back cover he gave me guidance to draw it, and then Amazon took over, and I was done!
