"Have you ever wondered where people go when they die?" The King asked his wife. But Queen Daisy never thought of such questions. For her, paradise was right where she was; with her husband, King Heeyah Cruz II, and her son, Prince Gunther Groen-Cruz the First. But when disaster struck, she desperately needed to know: is there a place beyond all we know? A place where all of our loved ones will go? Can anyone show Daisy how to find this place and what she must do to get there? Must she keep jumping through hoops, or is there another way?

Daniel de Cruz wrote his first book, which he later called The Cruces Crises, when he was visiting his sister-in-law's house in Bloemfontein, South Africa, on a hot and sleepless night, just before Christmas, 2018. Yes, it is hot in December in the southern half of the world, and this night was hotter than ever. There was not a single cloud in the night sky and the stars were shining brightly. Orion was standing on his head! There were the seven sisters of the Pleiades and the Milky Way was flowing like a river of stars across the heavens. Daniel saw the Southern Cross aka the Crux constellation, a cross in the sky that shines over Africa that cannot be seen in London, England, where Daniel lives with his wife, Marna and his son, Thomas. Daniel's first book is dedicated to his father, Denis de Cruz, who died in 2013. Gazing up at the night sky Daniel wondered to himself, "is my father up there somewhere beyond those distant stars?"
