Autorenporträt
Lisa Kerr has been a collector since childhood. She started with plastic purses and "Woolworth's" figurines, sea shells, and postcards and moved onto beaded purses, tin wind-up toys, and tin-lithographed toys. She lives in Seattle with her family and many pets and practices as a trial attorney in Seattle Municipal Court. Collaborator Jim Gilcher is Ohio Art's resident historian. When collectors call the company with questions about old toys, they are usually referred to Jim. A native born Ohio man, Jim has worked at Ohio Art for twenty-eight years.
