This needs to be seriously investigated in order to reduce the high rate of mortality being recorded among people living in such area, most especially, among children, elderly and the nursing mothers. This book has been written to give an overview of the importance of nutrition to human health and the damaging effect of oil spillage to the existence of human race.

Adegbola Oladele Dauda, Ph.D was born on 6th August, 1973, at Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He attended Abadina Primary School, Abadina College and University of Ibadan for his tertiary education, and currently a lecturer at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Dr. Dauda, within 3 years of his Ph.D has over 15 publications to his credit.
