Judie Steeves is an award-winning journalist whose writing has earned her a Federation of BC Naturalists's award for "outstanding contributions to the understanding and appreciation of the natural history of BC." Murphy Shewchuk is a passionate wilderness explorer, award-winning photographer and author of numerous books about BC's and Western Canada's outdoors, including Coquihalla Trips and Trails and Okanagan Trips and Trails. His writing and photographs have also appeared in such publications as BC Outdoors, Canadian Geographic, and Field and Stream.
