The field experiment was undertaken to study "Diallel analysis for fruit yield, its components and quality traits in okra (Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench)".The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with 3 replications at Main Vegetable Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during kharif 2010. The data were obtained for seventeen characters including fruit yield, its components and quality traits. The data were subjected to half diallel analysis. The salient features of the results obtained are summarized here in this book.

The author has done M.Sc. (Agri.) in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Main Vegetable Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand and recently completed his doctoral degree in 2015. He has many research articles published in national and international journals. He is now working as Agriculture Officer in Anand Agri. University, Viramgam.
