Nobuaki Minegishi (1959) es un dibujante japonés de manga entre cuyas obras cabe destacar Old Boy, Aburemon, Jungle, Teppen, Hoozuki, Joi Reika y Maboroshi No Kakero. Con la serie Old Boy ganó el Premio Eisner 2007 a la Mejor Edición de Material Internacional-Japón y en 2013 dio el salto a la gran pantalla con una exitosa adaptación dirigida por Spike Lee. Garon Tsuchiya (1947-2018) en el 1986 saltó a la fama gracias a Ahomansu y Meisouou Boodaa, obras que realizó junto con Akyo Makata. Más tarde, colaboró con el dibujante Kaiji Kawaguchi en Tokishozo Disturbs and Losses y, entre 1992 y 1993, publicó con Jiro Taniguchi los títulos Blue Fighter, Knuckle Wars y Live! Odyssey. Asimismo, ha colaborado con Takashi Imashiro en el manga Takopon y con Nobuaki Minegishi en lo que se considera su obra maestra: Old Boy.
