Autorenporträt
Linda C. Wisniewski likes to say she is from upstate New York although she really lives in suburban Philadelphia and loves it there. Her writing career began at St. Stanislaus parochial school, where she won a loaf of Monk's Bread in an essay contest. After working as a bureaucrat, a librarian and a reporter, she finally embraced the writer's life. She also loves volunteering as a docent at the historic home of author Pearl S. Buck, where she has been teaching memoir workshops for many years. Linda shares an empty nest with her retired scientist husband and is the mother of two grown sons. The author of Off Kilter, a memoir about growing up Polish American, and Where the Stork Flies, a feminist time travel novel, her work has been published in anthologies and journals both print and online.
