Autorenporträt
John Williams is an emeritus professor at Aberystwyth University. He researches topics related to older persons and the law, including human rights, social care, capacity, abuse and neglect, care home design, relationships, and older prisoners. He has spoken at many conferences, appeared on TV and radio to discuss elder abuse, and advised governments and other bodies. John was an expert member of the panel investigating abuse in a care home, for the Commissioner for Older People in Northern Ireland. He works with several charities. John lives with his wife and assorted animals in the middle of a sheep farm in mid-Wales.
