This work aimed to study the possibility to benefit from such organisms, isolated from poor soils of Fayoum Governorate, as biofertilizers and biocontrol agents for some pathogenic fungi. A survey of the putative N2-fixing oligotrophic bacterial isolates were made on different soil samples collected.
