Autorenporträt
Maiko Serizawa is a storywriter and mathematician living in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. What inspired her onto the journey of story writing was the early loss of her younger brother at the age of six. At the time, she wrote a series of adventure stories starring her brother and discovered the healing power in writing. As a writer, she is most fascinated by the subtle stories found in our day-to-day life. She loves visiting coffee shops for writing, and Olive's Diary is inspired by her favourite café in Ottawa and her years of experience at different coffee shops around the world. You can find her on her website https://www.maple-and-olive.com/ where she keeps a daily blog of short stories. She is also a host of the weekly show Maiko's Story Photograph Podcast available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
