He is the recipient of the United Nations Peace Award, the Rosa Parks Humanitarian Award, and the International Tolerance Award of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. René Simard is the former rector of the University of Montreal and is currently a professor in the department of pathology and cellular biology. He is a world-renowned cancer researcher who has won several prestigious awards, including the Order of Canada and the French National Order of Merit. He lives in Montreal, Ontario. Guy Bourgeault is a former Catholic priest and a professor of ethics at the University of Montreal. He lives in Montreal, Ontario.
