Francesco Cerrato is Associate Professor of History of Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy and Communication of the University of Bologna, where he also the Director of the Center for Philosopgical Research on Social, Political and Economic Violence (CRIVISPE). His publications include "Cause e nozioni comuni nella filosofia di Spinoza" (2008), "Un secolo di passioni e politica. Hobbes, Descartes, Spinoza" (2012), "Liberare la modernità.
