Cathy Helowicz grew up outside of Annapolis, Maryland, on a beautiful little point on the Chesapeake Bay. She spent her childhood summers boating, fishing and crabbing, and dreaming up her own stories. After a career with the National Security Agency (NSA) that took her around the world, she now lives by the beach in Jupiter, Florida, with her golden retriever Aimee. She is a full-time author writing children's books and mystery and spy novels. She volunteers with the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County helping children read.
