There stands, at the basis of science, a strong curiosity - the passion to explore and understand without creating confusion and being confused. Questions like 'Is there life after death?' cannot be explained right now but this does not make them impossible to answer using the scientific method. Other questions like 'Can some people demonstrate ESP?' have the answer knocking on the door. In the present paper, the author is trying to underline the main guidelines in assessing certain psychological characteristics of scientific performance, in order to create a predictable model of educational aspects that need following when developing 'future scientists'. These characteristics are compiled in an instrument that measures scientific attitudes related to scientific performance, with regard to other aspects like academic performance, general personality profile, educational curricula, and so forth.
