Autorenporträt
Pastor Debbora Hanna is a native Baltimorean who committed her life to the Lord in 1992. Her love and commitment to the Lord led her to diligently seek God's will for her life. In 2001, God began to show forth His glory in her life through the power of prayer by snatching her son Russell from the hand of death due to a gunshot wound. Since then, God revealed her calling to be intercessory prayer. God charged her to pray for people and their situations as if she were praying for herself. As a result, she began to see the manifestation of answered prayers on a consistent basis. In 2006, God further revealed Pastor Hanna's call to hurting women, and after working 17 years in the men's prison, she was lead to the Maryland Correctional Institution for Women in Jessup. It was during this time that God began to open her eyes to the level of disrespect and disregard that women had for each other and the Sister-2-Sister mentoring program was born. The program was developed for women who had long-term to life sentences to help enable to give something back to society. The program is designed for the older, more mature women and it encourages them to mentor the younger women, both first time and repeat offenders. The purpose of the program is to try to help women have a more positive outlook on life and learn to become responsible for their own actions and find ways to better themselves. In 2013, Pastor Hanna accepted the call to pastor. She is a faithful and dedicated worker in the body of Christ. She is a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loves the Word of God and one of her a favorite scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path."
