Ricci flow is a popular topic now days and scientists use it as a tool to solve geometric problems. In this book, The Ricci flow and conformal Ricci flow has been discussed briefly and studied over some different types of manifolds. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The is introductory and is basically intended to make the thesis as self-contained as possible. In this chapter I included basic definitions and theorems and have summarized the basic formulae and results on Ricci flow, conformal Ricci flow, Ricci soliton and contact manifolds which are essential for the next three chapters. Chapter two is named "On conformal Ricci flow" which has been introduced by A. E. Fischer in the year 2003-2004. The deformation of Riemannian tensor and Ricci tensor with respect to time for conformal Ricc flow and the f-functional and w-entropy functional regarding conformal Ricci flow have been inculded. The concept of conmalformal Ricci soliton, conformal gradient shirnking Ricci soliton have been included in chapter three.Chapter four is consists of Gradient Ricci soliton, gradient Ricci almost soliton and conformal gradient Ricci soliton.
Autorenporträt
I am working as an Assistant Professor  of Mathematics in a reputed institution in Kolkata after completing Ph.D from Jadavpur University,Kolkata. I have completed my M.Sc in Mathematics from University of Hyderabad, India. The  research work of Dr. G. Perelman has motivated me to study Ricci flow.
