This work is devoted to the study of certain new interacting particle systems in continuum, including the contact process with random birth and/or death coefficients and multicomponent systems. The framework of configuration spaces analysis is used to describe, construct and investigate the qualitative properties of such processes. This dissertation has been written under the supervision of Prof. Yurii Kondratiev at the Graduate School "Stochastics and Real World Models", University of Bielefeld, Germany.
