Pedro Dultra Benevides was born in Salvador-BA, Brazil. He holds an M.A. in Performing Arts from the Federal University of Bahia and a B.A. in Theater Direction from the same institution. He works as a stage lighting designer and since 2015 has been a professor in the Department of Performing Arts at the University of Brasília (UnB).
