Young Lee came to America from Seoul, Korea to study MBA in 1968 when he was 31 years old. He lives in Los Angeles. He is just an ordinary person. He was born in North Korea and escaped to South Korea. He lives under the rule of Japanese imperialism during the World War Two. He lived under the rule of the North Korean Communist army during the Korean War. He lived in Seoul in the years of the turbulent and rapidly social situation of South Korea. He has three children. One day his daughter said to him, "Dad, when my children grow up and ask about our family root, what shall I say to them? Would you write our family story for our children?" She urged him to write his story. He Wrote his story from his childhood to the day of the arrival at the airport of Honolulu. He entitled the book "On the Top of Mount Pisgah". To the question why he entitled the book like that he answered, "As I am not ready to enter Canaan (America) yet like Moses I have to stay on the top of Mount Pisgah and just see over it." He said he would write another book entitled "After crossing the Jordan".
