Lenore Grubinger is the founder and director of Amajoy Developmental Movement and Bodywork, in Florence, Massachusetts. She has conducted private practice for over thirty-five years, and leads workshops for parents and family-serving professionals in the US and abroad. Ms. Grubinger earned her BA in 1984 from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in Somatic Studies. Ms. Grubinger earned Practitioner and Teacher certification in Body-Mind Centering(R) (BMC) in 1986. She taught periodically over thirty years at the School for Body-Mind Centering (SBMC) in the certification and teacher certification programs. A co-developer of the Infant Developmental Movement Education (IDME) program of the SBMC, Ms. Grubinger taught in the IDME program from 2000 though 2009. She completed advanced training in CranialSacral Therapy with Dr. John Upledger in 1988. Additionally, Ms. Grubinger trained in Neurodevelopmental Therapy with Sara White. Ms. Grubinger was curriculum director of Developmental Movement and Learning, an educational non-profit, from 2001- 2004. A member of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA), Lenore is a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist (RSMT). She resides in western Massachusetts with her husband and cats.
