Depuis plus de 30 ans, Chandra ¿uvre auprès des familles touchées par le stress et les traumatismes. Nombre d'entre elles, comme celle d'Élo, sont marquées par des problèmes de santé mentale ou d'addiction chez les parents. Son souhait avec ce livre, c'est d'ouvrir le dialogue. Elle veut que les petits comprennent qu'ils n'ont pas à porter seuls leurs peines et souvenirs douloureux.
