JEAN LITTLE is the author of over fifty books, which have been translated into a dozen languages and have won many awards, including the Canadian Library Association Book of the Year Award, the Canada Council Literature Prize, and the Boston Globe Horn-Book Honor Book Award. She has been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Award eight times. She is also a member of the Order of Canada for her outstanding contribution to Canadian children's literature, and was recently presented with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal. Jean lives in Guelph, Ontario. MAGGIE DEVRIES is an award-winning author of ten books for children and teens, including Tale of a Great White Fish, Fraser Bear and Big City Bees .
