Autorenporträt
Nina Graboi was born in Vienna in 1918, at the end of World War I. She escaped the holocaust, fleeing to the USA after Kristallnacht, 1938. In 1967 she met Timothy Leary in New York, and became the head of the League for Spiritual Discovery in Manhattan. After some years in Millbrook and Woodstock, NY, she moved west to the Haight in San Francisco, and then to Santa Cruz, CA, where was a revered matron of the psychedelic community from 1980 to 1999.
