Autorenporträt
SAM PICKERING, a resident of Storrs, Connecticut, has BAs from Sewanee and Cambridge University and a PhD from Princeton. He recently retired as Distinguished Alumni Professor from the University of Connecticut. He taught in Jordan and Syria on Fulbright grants, and lived in Britain for five years, Australia for three, and spent the equivalent of four summering in Nova Scotia.
