Take an in-depth look at the rapidly accelerating transformation of IT-and the necessary and natural unification that must define the future. This unification will bring together the many silos of the IT organization and create a new singularity of vision and cadence of daily performance. By turning our focus on the customer, we give life to a core set of critical initiatives, including innovation, trans-IT automation, and a new partnership between humanity and technology. This focus arises from an unlikely source: the IT organization and the talented and capable stewards of our technology today. One IT, One Business presents 20 new strategies and principles as a framework for the future of IT, the emergence of a strategic IT as a bridge to One IT, and ultimately the birth of One Business. Each principle is presented in a short section, making the book easy to navigate. Ultimately, One IT, One Business serves as a constant reminder that our future lies with our wonderful customers and our talented IT people in leveraging remarkable new technologies and the coming together of our Business-one that has been fragmented for far too long.
