Born and raised in Edina, Minnesota, Laura Lee Scott is an award-winning writer and editor living in a suburb of Portland, Oregon with her husband and two, school-aged sons. Owner of Passionflower Press, Laura has authored, edited, and ghost-written numerous children's books and memoirs, including her own series of award-winning holiday picture books. She has also served as an "artist in resident" and enjoys reading her books in primary school classrooms whenever she gets the chance.
