Autorenporträt
Carsten R Jorgensen was born in Denmark and, at the age of nine, his family emigrated to Canada. Upon graduation from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 1966, he accepted a biologist position on Lake Temagami with the Ontario Department of Lands and Forests. He dedicated thirty years in studying and managing fisheries for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. In 1996 he retired and now enjoys spending his time playing chess, playing darts, doing Tai Chi, and writing books.
