The third scientist, not knowing what the other two have done, is left holding the bag. His marriage and career are seriously damaged and he needs to discover the truth in order to redeem himself. In the process he becomes involved with Mary Murphy.

J. Stewart Willis is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has served as an army officer, including a tour in Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne Brigade, as a college professor of physics, where he conducted published research, as a manager in industry, and nine years as mayor of Washington, Virginia. He self-published two previous novels, Gestation Seven and Deadly Highway.
