Present scenario of web service technology is awaiting an automated semantic annotation in order to discover an appropriate web service. Prevailing web service annotation mechanisms has limitations as they need to compromise in quality of annotation. Web services are annotated in a semantic manner either manually or by any third party annotator. Annotating a web service to an utmost pertinence is almost unfeasible and a non-trivial task too within stipulated time. In order to resolve this and to acquire an appropriate web service, a semi-automatic framework is developed in this work by means of employing SAWSDL annotation mechanism to utilize ontology based annotations and correlate those with the equivalent web services. In order to validate the correctness of the web services execution that are deployed through this framework, test cases are generated and it unveils the defects in the web services during its execution in terms of number of test cases passed, failed, blocked andsuccessfully executed to determine the defect leakage, defect density and defect removal efficiency parameters proficiently. The results are promising and prove the framework to be efficient.
