Autorenporträt
Gene Festa, M.Ed., is a retired educator, having taught high school and middle school students for nearly 4 decades. He has also been a frequent workshop facilitator, as well as an instructor for adults. He has always enjoyed being busy, and continues to do so in retirement, directing and acting in plays, singing in his community's chorus and working as a Deacon at his church. In addition, he volunteers in the community, at the local Food Bank and as a docent at the Holocaust Museum. When he decided to retire from full-time teaching, he also made the decision to move to San Antonio, Texas, where he presently resides, to be close to his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to reading and working on becoming an artist, Gene has enjoyed writing. He is a firm believer in staying active and using his God-given gifts wherever he can.
