This breathtaking collection of poetry inlaid with original artwork reminds us to be open to the daily beauty that surrounds us and emerges from within. Ayers invites us to embrace each moment as it arises, whether filled with pain, despair, frustration, compassion or delight. By allowing all our emotions and experiences, and learning to drop our conditioning, assumptions, old beliefs and concepts, she tells us it is possible to move towards joy and freedom. By opening to our inner world and moving away from outside distractions, we can begin to enter brilliant, clear, vibrant Presence. Being curious and exploring what emerges from our inner life, it is possible, over time, to open to the Mystery and our own deep nature. Autorenporträt
Katharine Stone Ayers, author of From Frozenness to Freedom, is excited to be publishing three poetry books: Old Remnants-New Buds, Trembling Heart and Opening. "I've always loved to write," says Katharine, "whether it's journaling, prose or poetry. Poetry is my favorite. With exquisite mentoring from my teacher, Lorraine Mejia, great input from book designer Cherri LaMarr, and friends who cheered me on, I've thoroughly enjoyed the process of writing and putting together these three poetry books." She wants her readers to know that she hopes that reading her poems will be transformative for them as
it was for her writing them. Katharine lives in Maui, where she loves living in a stunningly beautiful environment where she can write, garden, swim, paint and be enriched by a diverse artistic and spiritual community.
