This book presents several issues related to operation management in business organizations. The first part presents the new paradigm of operations strategy, better known as the new era of manufacturing. Some new views are changing from the traditional views we usually do with the shifts in the dynamic and ever-changing business world. In this section, we describe the impact of globalization on changes in corporate strategy and the application of total global strategies and how to win competition in the global era. This section also describes a change from competition between companies individually towards competition between business networks.
