Autorenporträt
Claire Datnow is the author of numerous books, including the Adventures of the Sizzling Six eco-mystery series. She taught gifted and talented students in Birmingham, Alabama, and has received many teaching awards, including a Fulbright Memorial Fund teacher scholarship to Japan and Birmingham Public Schools Teacher of the Year. In 2019, the Birmingham Audubon Society named the Audubon-Datnow Forest Preserve, in Birmingham, to honor Claire for creating a nature trail and outdoor classroom during her tenure. Claire and her husband live in Birmingham. Ruth Palmer is an illustrator, designer, and artist. She received a degree in illustration from the Harrow School of Art in London and worked in advertising and design for many years. Ruth is skilled in a variety of illustrative techniques, including dip pen, watercolor, acrylic, and digital illustration. She lives and gardens in the beautiful countryside in Devonshire, England.
