Vilda Purutçuo¿lu is professor in Statistics Department and chair of Biomedical Engineering Department at METU. She is associate editor of Biometrics (2020-24), editorial board member of BMC Bioinformatics since 2022, chair of award fund committee of IBS (2022-27) and academic advisor of Huawei, Turkey since 2023. Gerhard Wilhelm Weber is professor in Marketing and Economic Engineering Department at Poznan University of Technology. He has affiliations in various universities like METU, University of Siegen, University of Aveiro, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Vidyasagar University. Hajar Farnoudkia is assistant professor at Business Administration Department of Bäkent University. Her bachelor and master of statistics are from Tabriz University and doctorate from METU. Her primary interests are in applied statistics and advanced machine learning methods.
