Raised in Vancouver, Canada, Pamela Atkinson was educated at Queen's University and the University of British Columbia. Pamela has written short fiction, and for the theatre.

Pam Atkinson is the fine artist who rendered the illustrations in this book when she was a member of Mount Bruno United Church of Canada in Saint Bruno de Montarville, Quebec. She now lives in Bragg Creek, Alberta where she is an Artist at `Ravenseen`.
