I have disclosed my infirmity to fewer than 10 people since I was first diagnosed over 35 years ago. The search for my identity has ended, and, just begun. I believe that I have now initiated the process to seize each and every opportunity not in spite of my illness, but because of it. As an educator, I am always struggling to think of new ways to impart knowledge to others. I wrote this book to remind myself and others of the importance of self-worth and inner strength. Marc Hoberman is an educational consultant, best-selling author, and motivational speaker. He wrote Opportunity in Disguise: How I Defeated Adversity as a way of exposing the advantages he has gained as a result of a difficult situation. He would not be the same person had he not encountered these challenges. Marc founded Grade Success Education in 1995 and has since expanded his tutoring company to include online tutoring, educational videos, and courses nationally. From the boardroom to the classroom, Marc continues his passion to help people of all ages reach their full potential.
