Cu/ZnS thin films were successfully deposited by chemical bath deposition method using zinc acetate and copper acetate as the source of Zn+2 and Cu+2. The Cu/ZnS thin films were deposited on glass substrates. The deposited films were characterized using the JENWAY UV-vis spectrometer. The optical band gaps of the Cu/ZnS films were characterized using Tauc's relation and obtained to be 3.24 eV. The transmittance of the films was also observed to be high (about 60%). The films were also observed to have a maximum absorption peak at 0.20 au (20%). The results of the analysis showed that the Cu/Zn...
